All the things you need to do to prepare for your travel trip - part 2.
1: International driving license:
Personally I didn’t want to drive a scooter whilst being away, but I’d rather be prepared just in case I changed my mind and save myself the fine!
They are so cheap and easy to get in the UK, most pay points do them and they only cost £5. They can do them there and then for you, but make sure you doublecheck what you need before going, as I’m sure you need to take your driving license and a printed passport picture.
2: Get a good travel card and change up some cash
We ended up putting all of our money onto a revolute card because it was just easier to manage and control over the few months that we was away. We also changed up around £1500 worth of cash, I’m all honesty this lasted us ages in terms of spending money in Thailand! Cash is definitely king out there so it’s handy have the right currency when you arrive. Also each cash point 9/10 charges you to withdraw, so having a decent amount of cash to start off is handy.

3: Order any medication:
Just being organised and prepared when it comes to medication you can only get at home! You want to plan just in case you decide to stay a bit longer or you lose anything it’s always good to have spares.
4: Print off extra passport pictures:
I saw somebody else say this on TikTok and it’s always good to be extra prepared! So along with all your travel documents, print spare copies of your passport photo! Just in case for whatever reason you need another Visa or you even loose your passport!
